The Vatican Chapels reopen: FOUR NEW ITINERARIES ON THE ISLAND OF SAN GIORGIO MAGGIORE

After the success of the Vatican Chapels with both the public and critics during the Architecture Biennale 2018, they have been reopened to the public.

As part of the Fondazione Giorgio Cini project to integrate visitor services on the Island of San Giorgio Maggiore, from Tuesday 16 April it will be possible to visit not only the monumental complex but also the Foundation’s “Wood” and the Vatican Chapels, presented to the public last year during the 16th International Architecture Exhibition of the Venice Biennale.

The ten chapels realized by 10 internationally renowned architects from Italy, Spain, Portugal, the UK, the US, Australia, Brazil, Japan, Chile, Serbia and Paraguay are located in an area of about a hectare and a half.
